Facilities
Facilities: EVERYTHING AT YOUR DISPOSAL
Pool and sun area
Few swimming pools can say they blend seamlessly into nature. Our heated swimming pool is set among tall palm trees, with views of the Tamadaba Massif and the Guayedra Valley. From the sun deck, all you will hear is the birdsong, the waves and the rustling of the wind through the leaves. This is one of the privileges of staying in the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve, which only our guests get to enjoy.
Sports facilities
Do you like sport? Holidays and sport, you can have both. We have multi-purpose sports facilities where you can play football, tennis or basketball or try out our climbing wall. Don’t worry about the materials, you’ll have everything you need for whichever sport you choose. And all within a Nature Reserve surrounded by plants and animals!
Gym
At Redondo de Guayedra, there are no holiday excesses. You’ll be able to work out and stay in shape in our fully equipped fitness centre. It has large picture windows so you can admire the surrounding gardens, orchards and plants while you work out. Training in this way is so much more enjoyable.
Playgrounds
Redondo de Guayedra and family go hand in hand. Here we cater to the little ones, too, with outdoor spaces designed just for them where they can have fun and enjoy their own private holiday. The playgrounds are located in our gardens, so the children will be in touch with nature and can enjoy our farm animals, which they always love.
Electric vehicles
At Redondo de Guayedra, we strive to promote active, sustainable tourism. We try to avoid combustion engines as much as possible on our grounds to minimise toxic gases and smoke put into the environment. Our guests have the option to rent an electric cart, 100% eco-friendly, to get around comfortably and discover all the charms of this little slice of paradise.
Tamadaba Lounge
A common area where you can gather with your loved-ones and have fun. It can also be used for other activities, such as exhibitions, dances, conferences, screenings, workshops or whatever you need. In the Tamadaba Lounge we have a projector, stage, smart TV, board games, a sitting room and desks.
Gardens and orchards
We firmly believe that if you work the land with love, you will get the best harvest from it. Our organic orchards, in addition to supplying our kitchen with great produce, are a commitment to returning to the area’s agriculture activity. We use run-off from the mountains that collects in our own ponds to water the plants and are certified Canary Islands organic agriculture producers.
Botanical gardens
Our passion for conservation at Redondo de Guayedra is channelled into our Jardín de Sitio, or botanical gardens, which features local plant species from the Guayedra basin. Among the forest of Mt. Atlas mastic trees and Canary Island date palms, and next to a beautiful waterfall, you can discover the region’s most common and exclusive native plant species.
