100% SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT
Redondo de Guayedra has been planned and designed to be eco-friendly and socially aware, and we carry out all our activities in line with sustainability criteria.
At Redondo de Guayedra, we strive to promote eco-tourism. Our EcoResort is backed by great efforts to restore the splendour of the traditional landscapes and natural environment in the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve.
Redondo de Guayedra has been planned and designed to be eco-friendly and socially aware, and we carry out all our activities in line with sustainability criteria.
Encourage
We encourage activities to conserve nature, its flora and fauna.
-We do reforestation projects to recover local biodiversity and have already planted more than 14 hectares with help from our guests and volunteers.
-We promote activities to raise awareness of the need to preserve protected species and to recognise the value of biodiversity.

We promote agroecology and protect local biodiversity.
-We are certified Canary Islands organic producers, with registration number 3317P.
-We have recovered many of the abandoned traditional plots for crops.
-We comply with the provisions of the Ministry of the Environment’s Manual of Good Agricultural and Environmental Practices.
Responsible use
We make responsible use of energy sources.
-We have solar panels, making us nearly carbon neutral.
-We use silent, electric, zero-emission vehicles to get around the resort.
-Our organic gardens and orchards are watered with run-off from the Tamadaba mountains collected in old drainage ponds that have been refurbished.
